Free book for people wanting to move to Denmark
The Danish Chamber of Commerce has published a free, 52-page booklet describing the rules for moving to Denmark - finding work, getting used to the culture, customs at work, salary and taxes, finding accommodation, etc.You can download a PDF version as follows:
Go to http://expatindenmark.com/
See "Expat in Denmark News" and look for the new publication "Living and Working in Denmark - An Expat Perspective".
I've started a discussion about its points in the Discussion Forum, but you have to register on the site to contribute.
Newsletter / club for expats in Arhus
If you live in or near Århus, take a look at:http://www.internationalcommunity.dk
It's a local network for expats with events, seminars, connections etc.
Avoid housing firm "Datea"
A warning to expats to avoid renting accommodation from "Datea" which is providing accommodation near the Fisketorvet shopping mall. Expats who have moved out have been unable to get their security deposits back - the company just offers bogus excuses as to why the tenant's deposit money can't be refunded, leaving legal action (and huge legal bills) as the only recourse.FREE childrens books!
Hi there, just cleaning up the kids rooms and I have got about 50 childrens books free for the taking. I live near Randers though, so it may limit the takers! Call me if you are interested, 26116698- KirstenDirect flights from Copenhagen to Toronto - on Air Canada
