Le 15 Août! Fête des acadiens - Acadian day!

Hey everyone!

Well, I don't really know if there are any other acadians here other than myself, but next wednesday the 15th of august is acadian day. For those who don't know, french canadian acadians (mostly from NB or NS) celebrate this day each year, usually including face painting, flag waving, lots of acadian music and lots of beer drinking. So if anyone would like to get together for at least a drink or two (face painting and flag waiving not necessary) let me know with a comment or email and we can maybe figure something out. If not, well bonne fête des acadiens le 15 Août!

Hi again!

So Andrew suggested we go to Kennedy's on Gammel Kongevej in Vesterbro. We'll be meeting around 8h30 pm (but if anyone is available earlier let me know and I'll meet you there!). Not for a late evening (I have danish courses at 9h00 the next morning, oufff....) but we'll have a couple of drinks to just to go relax and have fun. And all nationalities are welcome, don't have to be a canuck! Hopefully we'll see some of you wednesday!
